Maritime Gloucester is a small working waterfront museum and educational facility. While much of our work is centered on celebrating 400 years of maritime heritage and Gloucester's rich waterfront history, our educational model is focused on Learning by Doing. And our vision for a future sustainable seaport is focused on an engaged community supporting sustainable fishing and a healthy ocean.
With that as background, we are pleased to host Hack-for-the-Sea as part our efforts to engage citizens in the collection of useful data about fisheries and the ocean and to offer ocean maker's space workshops on our waterfront campus.
We look forward to hosting you this weekend. For more information about Maritime Gloucester, please visit our website, http://maritimegloucester.org or like us on http://facebook.com/maritimegloucester
